Renault fits a diesel engine to its Kangoo micro-van

RENAULT Australia has this week launched a 1.5-litre diesel version of its Kangoo microvan offering 62kW at 3750rpm and 200Nm from 1750rpm.
Priced $2000 higher than the Berlingo HDi at $23,990, and combined with a five-speed manual gearbox, the Kangoo dCi is claimed to return 5.3L/100km.
Although soon to be superseded overseas, Renault Australia said this week it will continue to offer the current Kangoo for at least another 12 months.
